Simply contact me through this website or email or call directly to discuss! We will discuss available dates and find the perfect one that works for us both. 

The typical wait to receive your full gallery of edited images is usually 2 weeks.  At times if could be a week or so longer, or even a week or so faster, but 2 weeks is generally the wait. I do post a preview of a few images in the day or two after your session! I get just as excited as you are to see your finished images!

Please do! I love when seniors have their moms with, or anyone else that you'd like to share this time with! It's always great to have an extra pair of eyes and hands!  Friends make pretty great hype squads too!

What about pets?  Of course! I'm an animal lover so if you want to have your dog or cat come along for a photo or two, we can make that work as well.

I don't currently have a studio space, and shoot all on location. I personally am located in Jordan, Minnesota. It's a small town, just south of the Twin Cities.  It is an amazing little gem for photos! We have a perfect mix of "urban" looks with bricks, alleys, etc. and amazing nature spots, a creek, waterfall, fields, etc. all located very close together.

However, I am always up for going to wherever you'd like to shoot your session, within reason of course! Some favorite spots are:

Wayzata, Excelsior, Carver, Chaska, Prior Lake, Jordan, New Prague and...Glacier National Park, Montana (Kidding..though I did get to travel here last year to do a session for a family, and it was AMAZING! If you have a travel idea, don't hesitate to run it by me! We just might be able to make it work!)

No worries! I feel like I could also work as a part-time meteorologist in the summer, for as closely as I watch the weather! We will be in touch close to your session date, checking in, etc.  If the weather is looking less than ideal, we will come up with a plan that works best for both of us. I don't like to make any final decisions until as close to your session as possible, as the weather can also change quickly. 

But please know, I want you to be comfortable and LOVE your photos! If it's too humid, rainy, windy, stormy, etc...rescheduling is best.  On that same note, please understand that overcast/cloudy skies do work great for photos, so that is not something we'd generally reschedule for. I keep plenty of open days in my schedule, so we should be able to reschedule to a date close to your original session, if needed.

I love to shoot sessions in the morning, and in the evening.  A few things play into deciding what is best for your.  One factor is location.  Some locations work better in the morning, and some are better in the evening.

Are you dreaming of that golden hour sunset, an evening session might be a better fit.

Mornings can be dreamy too, and locations are also often more quiet then.  We can chat and decide what will work best for you!

This is your chance to showcase your style and personality! Choose outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable  Think about the colors, styles and fits that flatter your best!

My favorite colors on camera are maroon, sage green, light blue, navy blue, shades of pink, black and white...the list goes on. It’s no secret that solid colors are best, but a good pattern can be a fun addition to your wardrobe and adds an element of texture to your photos. Keep it simple. Choose colors that compliment your skin and hair color. Choose patterns that don’t take away from the overall aesthetic of your session.

Think about a variety of options too...maybe jeans and a cute top, a dress, shorts, etc. You can do a more classic look for one, and a more fun for another.  Layers are good too, adding a jacket or a sweater is a great option. 

Don't forget about shoes and accessories as well. Heels, sneakers, sandals and even some barefoot shots can really add to photos!  The only thing I would really avoid are giant logos and neon colors.  Otherwise I promise, we will find the perfect locations that best go with your outfits.

Ultimately, be YOU! We want your best self to shine, and that will happen when you feel comfortable and confident!  Searching online, Pinterest and my galleries here are also great ideas to get outfit ideas!
