About Jen Bahn Seniors

Hi, I’m Jen—photographer, teacher, mom, and biggest fan of capturing life’s meaningful moments.

I’ve been photographing for 17 years, but my love for photography goes back even further. It truly took off when my oldest daughter turned one. I fell head-over-heels for documenting her milestones, and before I knew it, friends began asking me to photograph their families too. What started naturally and joyfully grew into a career I’m incredibly grateful for.

Over the years, I’ve discovered that my true passion lies in senior portraits. I absolutely love spending time with seniors during such an exciting, transformative season of their lives. As a middle school teacher, working with kids and young adults has always come naturally to me, and that connection carries seamlessly into my photography sessions. My goal is always to create an experience that feels relaxed, fun, and authentically you.

Summers are my favorite season behind the camera, and I spend most of them photographing seniors, with sessions continuing into the fall. I do offer limited sessions throughout the rest of the year as well.

When I’m not teaching or taking photos, you’ll find me cheering on my three kids—ages 18, 14, and 10—in their sports and in life. My husband and I are big Minnesota sports fans (Vikings, Timberwolves, and Twins), but purple and gold will always have our hearts. I’m also a proud dog mom to the sweetest 5-year-old Cavapoo named Mav—he’s my absolute love.
